Ashirwad Solar successfully installed a 5KW on-grid solar power system on the rooftop of Mrs. Priya S.’s residence in Alkapuri, Vadodara. The goal of the project was to reduce the household’s monthly electricity expenses and transition to a cleaner, more sustainable source of energy. As electricity costs were steadily rising, the client sought a long-term solution that would ensure energy independence, environmental contribution, and significant financial savings.
Mrs. Priya S.’s home is a two-story standalone bungalow with a concrete rooftop that receives moderate sunlight throughout the day. The total usable rooftop area was around 600 sq. ft., with minor shading caused by a nearby water tank and trees during certain hours. Prior to installation, the family’s average monthly electricity bill ranged between ₹5,000–₹6,000, largely due to air conditioning, water heaters, and kitchen appliances.
Our team began with a detailed site assessment, including shadow analysis, structural checks, and electrical load study. The key challenge was partial shading during the morning hours and optimal tilt angle adjustment for winter sunlight. Based on the findings, we proposed a customized on-grid system using mono PERC high-efficiency solar panels and a smart inverter with MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) for best performance even during shaded conditions.
We also assisted the client in preparing documents for net metering approval and government subsidy under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana, where she was eligible for up to 40% subsidy on system cost.
The entire installation process took 5 working days, including structure fabrication, panel mounting, inverter installation, wiring, and safety testing. Proper earthing, surge protection, and lightning arrestor were also installed for electrical safety. We used UV-protected cables and branded MC4 connectors to ensure long-lasting and secure electrical connections.
Since commissioning, the system is generating an average of 20–22 units per day, enough to cover most of the household’s daily needs. Excess electricity is exported back to the grid, earning credits under Gujarat’s net metering policy.
Projected savings:
Monthly: ₹4,000–₹5,000
Annual: ₹50,000–₹60,000
Payback Period: 4 years
CO₂ Saved Annually: ~6,000 kg
“Ashirwad Solar gave us a complete solution — from survey to subsidy. The team was professional, honest, and explained everything in simple terms. Within the first month, we already saw our bill drop by 80%. I’m happy to have invested in solar with a trusted local company.”
— Mrs. Priya S., Vadodara
✅ Final Result:
This project is a perfect example of how a well-designed solar system can transform an ordinary rooftop into a source of clean, money-saving power. With a reliable setup, long-term warranty, and professional maintenance support, Mrs. Priya and her family are now enjoying 25+ years of energy freedom — powered by the sun.
